This year is the 100th anniversary of the Marfa Chamber of Commerce. For a century, this organization has risen and adapted to meet the challenges that face the community of Marfa. We continue to do so by moving the organization back to the roots of its existence: promoting and increasing activity that benefits our members and the economic needs of the community of Marfa as a whole. To reflect the new direction, we’ve put together a new tiered membership program that has been tailored to the types of businesses, nonprofits, and individuals we see in the community. New benefits include exciting additions to the website, an education series dedicated to helping members develop the skills necessary to meet their potential, new web-based software that will enable this office to communicate more fluidly with the membership, and a schedule of events throughout 2012 that will nourish our roots in the community and increase area revenues.

The Gold Membership has been put together with customer service and tourism focused businesses in mind, it comes with unique promotional opportunities. Benefits include: All of the Silver Level membership benefits 3 slides in the 24 hour rolling slideshow in the window of the Chamber of Commerce will represent you even outside of chamber office hours A QR Code in the office window will redirect potential customers to your chosen web address.
Lifetime Membership: $2,100.00
The Lifetime Membership is available to individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. For the price of less than 8 years as a Gold member, the Lifetime Membership comes with all the Gold benefits, for life.
Patron Membership: $60.00
Patrons are individuals who are looking for a way to support the chamber’s efforts to bolster local business. This level is designed as a way for individual people to be a part of Marfa’s development, both economically and as a community. Patrons have access to the business center, and invitations to special Chamber events.
Apprentice Membership: $30.00
The Apprentice level is a means of connecting people with skills to people who need a job done. It’s available to individuals with marketable skills such as sewing, yard maintenance, house cleaning, dog walking, house sitting, and the like. Apprentice level members have the opportunity to add their name and skill set to a web-based list, where potential customers can search for just the right person for the job.
